Well , I can confidently say that my summer holidays went quite productive because the books which I opted to read and especially non fictional were exhilarating and I was poured with great facts and knowledge which were unclear to me and helped me to understand better about some of the few ideologies and incidents which are very essential to understand today because the facts are portrayed in a very distorted manner especially about the deeds and misdeeds of Indian freedom struggle and post independence era.  (Image Source : The one who is writing the blog ! Month of June and July are the months of holidays and relaxing for school and college students because these are the hottest months of the year and we are privileged with "summer vacations" in these months . Well I am an undergraduate student in Delhi University , so I thought to utilize my holidays with reading some interesting books rather than opting for internships in such scorching heat by sitting at home under the AC while having snacks . This was so because , the list of books I decided to read were all non fictional and all the books were given to me by my dad and one of them was " Why I am a Liberal " by Sagarika Ghose .                            (image source: shutterstock) It was my dream to visit the Parliament House one day in my life since I was in sixth standard, to watch the lawmakers of world's biggest democracy, the political leaders who run the whole country and representation of whole India which consists of twenty nine states, seven union territories and five hundred and foutey three constituencies of India under one roof in the Nation Capital i.e. New Delhi.  (image source : Pixbay)   It was February 12, 2019 hazy day in New Delhi, woke up in the morning got the passes for Lok Sabha (Lower House of the Parliament) also called as House of the People.  I was extremely excited about my visit, I caught up my friends on Vishwavidyalaya metro station (yellow line) from there we have to go to Central Secretariat metro station (yellow line ). We had a booked session of 12:00 to 13:00....

"BHEL PURI" OF AN "OLD MAN" Reaching to college 10 in the morning , spending almost the whole day there , turning towards back to home with his 3 to 4 friends walking straight on the roads of North Campus Kirorimal College to Vishwavidyalaya metro station, passing through many popular road side stalls like "sudama ki chai" , "kulche wala" where generally crowd of students gather and they hangout over these places by enjoying the taste of these stalls food and chatting with their friends . The second edition of the Model United Nation held in the college on 2nd and 3rd of February , it was a great success as all the EB members which were invited in the MUN appreciated a lot and all the delegates were highly satisfied by such a smooth MUN. On the other side there was an another event "Intellosphere" which consisted of many side events , calling celebrities , inviting politicians etc. It attracted a large numbers of crowd in it from different colleges and had excellent result overall , only one word to say " SUPERHIT SHOW" .
