Going through the book section of Flipkart.com , I eventually found a very eye catching book in maroon and reddish colour with big white capital letters title " THE VERDICT" by Prannoy Roy and Dobara S. Sopariwala. And more than that the concept of book insisted my eyes to look through it, just behind the title of the book : "Decoding India's Election". I grew up watching NDTV and I always admired Prannoy Roy. I remember he often appears on channel especially when it's an election season. I had no second thought about this book, I orders it on the spot. I was curious about the topic of this book and the interpretation of an intellectual like Prannoy Roy.  Being a Political Science student sometimes challenges your thoughts about contemporary world especially when you thorough study the western political thoughts. Well , I can confidently say that my summer holidays went quite productive because the books which I opted to read and especially non fictional were exhilarating and I was poured with great facts and knowledge which were unclear to me and helped me to understand better about some of the few ideologies and incidents which are very essential to understand today because the facts are portrayed in a very distorted manner especially about the deeds and misdeeds of Indian freedom struggle and post independence era.  (Image Source : The one who is writing the blog !
