It was February 12, 2019 hazy day in New Delhi, woke up in the morning got the passes for Lok Sabha (Lower House of the Parliament) also called as House of the People. I was extremely excited about my visit, I caught up my friends on Vishwavidyalaya metro station (yellow line) from there we have to go to Central Secretariat metro station (yellow line ). We had a booked session of 12:00 to 13:00.
Now here comes the intresting part. If I have to describe my parliament visit experience, I would do that in five major Checks that means the five major security checks which I have been through.
1st Check
First, we were supposed to be at the reception gate of the Parliament House and we went there. This was the very first step in stepping into the Parliament. There we had to submit our all the electronic devices which we were carrying with ourselves like our smartphones, cables, smart watches etc. We were only allowed to carry our bags and stuff in that bag except the electronic items.
Then we went through security check, we were thoroughly checked, our bags were also checked and each item in our bag was observed by the security and if they were finding anything harmful they were immediately submitting those items.
2nd Check

After the above security check up we stood up in the long queue of people who came to visit parliament like of us. It was a long queue and that queue was followed into a big circular hall which was the exact reception hall. At the end of hall there was again security check and with the security check there was documentation check also which was an add on into the security check. There they verified our passes and verified our identity. After all this we exited the reception hall and then there was one of the most alluring moment of my life and that was parliament house in front of me. It was tremendous and it took whole one hour to cross the 1st and 2nd check.
3rd Check

After the second check we had the Parliament House in front of us and the tremendous beauty of the architecture was alluring. Then we had a another task i.e. we had to enter into the Parliament House through mentioned gate number mentioned on our pass and that was not a tough task, we easily found the gate and entered.
The moment we entered into the gate, there was an another security check. Our bags were scanned again and we again gone through the check, then after we had to submit our bags, wallet and all the other stuff we were carrying with ourselves except some money.
Till now we were carrying our bags and now we submitted our bags and all the other stuff to a dedicated counter and moved towards the hall (Lok Sabha Public Gallery).
4th Check

As we moved towards the public gallery, there was again a queue of people like us who went through three checks earlier. This checkpoint was mainly for verification purposes, they had a list of visitors, so they cross checked our passes with the list and most importantly they captured the picture of our faces and it was applicable for every visitor for security purposes.

Now we were just one step away from our dream vision and this check was most strict checking point of each individual, they observed each and every thing you have and they don't even leave your smallest pocket unchecked, even our handkerchief was also checked by them and after facing so tight security arrangements we were tired but more than that excited to step into the Lok Sabha Public Gallery.
And then came the most anticipating moment of my life, watching the Lok Sabha (Lower House of the Parliament) session going on in front of my eyes. There were benches to sit, we sat over there and enjoyed the session going on which we used to watch on television since our child hood and that hall from where the whole governance is runned of the world's biggest democracy.
We stayed there for like half hour because we got a batch of 12:00 to 13:00 and we reached in hall near around 12:25.
After leaving the hall, I still remember that the image of Lok Sabha (Lower House of the Parliament) which I witnessed from my eyes was not disappearing because I was so much amused which I cannot express through my words, after which we immediately left the hall and took a round through parliament building corridor with big pillars on our one side and after completing the round we exited the Parliament House, we went straight to the reception office, collected our phones and other electronic stuff and left for home being so much happy and amused.
